Arm Jive Flamenco (Step Under) (11 counts ; 22 musical beats) : Brief Description

The Arm Jive Flamenco (Step Under) is a variation of an Arm Jive Swizzle, leading the lady into a flamenco (hammerlock) position, and then exiting with a Step Under.

Steps

1–6

The Arm Jive Flamenco (Step Under) starts like steps 1–6 of the Arm Jive Swizzle.

7: ()

The man leads the lady to move forwards and turn 360o anticlockwise (with weight on her left leg) under his right hand (and the lady's left hand) — by raising his right hand (and the lady's left hand) from waist height to above her head and pushing her left hand slightly with his right hand, while lowering his left hand (and the lady's right hand) to waist height and allowing his grip to “swivel”, so that the lady can freely bend her right arm into the hammerlock position — as he moves forwards.

8: ()

The man leads the lady to move backwards and turn 360o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) under his left hand (and the lady's right hand) — by raising his left hand (and the lady's right hand) from waist height to above her head and pulling her left hand slightly with his right hand — as he moves backwards.

9: ()

The man leads the lady to move forwards and turn 360o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) under his left hand (and the lady's right hand) — by raising his left hand (and the lady's right hand) from waist height to above her head and pushing her right hand slightly with his left hand, while lowering his right hand (and the lady's left hand) to waist height and allowing his grip to “swivel”, so that the lady can freely bend her left arm into the hammerlock position — as he moves forwards.

10: ()

The man leads the lady to move forwards — by pulling her left hand slightly with his right hand (which also pulls against the lady's back, since her left arm is in a hammerlock position), and then releasing the lady's left hand from his right hand — as he raises his left hand (and the lady's right hand) to head height in an arch and moves forwards-left under his left arm.

11–12

The Arm Jive Flamenco (Step Under) ends like steps 3–4 of the Step Under.
