The Blocked Glide starts like steps 1–3 of the Glide.

The man catches the lady's right hip in his right hand.
The man can optionally lead the lady to sit on his right thigh, by pushing her left shoulder downwards with his left hand.
Instead of a static pose, the man can rock the lady when she is sat on his leg — by swaying his right knee from side to side.

The man leads the lady to move left and spin 90o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) — by releasing her right hip after pushing it slightly with his right hand — as he releases the lady's left shoulder from his left hand and moves forwards-right and then spins 90o anticlockwise (with weight on his left leg).
