The man leads the lady to move forwards and rotate 180^o anticlockwise (with weight on her left leg) (the lady keeps her left arm horizontal, out to her left at waist height, as she rotates) — by pulling her right hand slightly with his right hand forwards and to his right — as he moves forwards so that she comes into his right side leading the lady's right hand behind her back into a hammerlock.

The man leads the lady to move backwards — by bringing his right hand (and the lady's right hand) into a hammerlock position and then releasing the lady's right hand from his right hand — as he moves forwards-right and catches the lady's left hand in his right hand by sliding his right hand down the lady's left arm.
