The man leads the lady to move backwards — by pushing her right hand slightly with his right hand — as he moves backwards-left off the lady's line, leaving it free for her to step forwards and offers his left hand over the right-to-right handhold for the lady to take his left hand in her left hand.

The man leads the lady to move forwards into his right side and to take his left hand in her left hand — by pulling her right hand slightly with his right hand — as he moves forwards slightly to the left of the lady's line, so that the lady will come into his right side, and brings his right hand (and the lady's right hand) near to his left shoulder.

Some men signal the Secret Move by placing their left arm in a hammerlock position, making their left hand available near their right waist for the lady to take his left hand in her left hand, others offer their left hand in front of their right waist, or under their right bicep.

The man leads the lady to rotate 180^o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) — by bringing his right hand (and the lady's right hand) to his right in front of the lady.

The man leads the lady to finish the spin (placing weight onto her right foot as a brake and then stepping back on her left leg) — by pushing her hand(s) slightly with his hand(s) — as he moves backwards.
