In the short version of the Seducer the man steps straight past the lady's right side.

Steps

The Seducer starts like steps 1–4 of the First Move.

The man leads the lady to lean back in a dipped position (the lady supports her weight on one leg whilst keeping her legs close together and sliding her non-supporting foot along the floor) — by stepping forwards on his left leg into a lunge.

The man can trace the lady's “contours” while she is leant back.

Optional pause for dramatic effect.

The man leads the lady to a vertical position — by closing his left leg to his right leg, coming out of the lunge.

The man leads the lady to move backwards and spin 360^o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) — by releasing the lady's back after pulling it slightly with his right hand — as he moves backwards-right.

8: (Catch, and step back)

The man typically catches the lady's hands in a double handhold, or catches the lady's right hand in either his left or right hand. The man leads the lady to finish the spin (placing weight onto her left foot as a brake and then stepping back on her right leg) — by pushing her hand(s) slightly with his hand(s) — as he moves backwards.
