Note that despite its name, the shoulder drop is not actually a “drop” in the acrobatic sense — the move is similar to a Return Comb, followed by a one-handed Towel and a “Classic” False Pretzel exit.

The man leads the lady to move backwards (stepping back on her right foot in preparation for an anticlockwise rotation) — by pushing her right hand slightly with his right hand — as he moves backwards.

The man leads the lady to move forwards and turn 360o anticlockwise (with weight on her left leg) under his right hand (and the lady's right hand) — by pulling her right hand slightly with his right hand and raising his right hand (and the lady's right hand) from waist height to above her head — as he moves forwards.

There is no explicit lead — as he raises his right hand (and the lady's right hand) from waist height over his head, turns 180o clockwise (with weight on her right leg) under his right hand (and the lady's right hand) and lowers his right hand (and the lady's right hand) head height to his right shoulder.

The man leads the lady to move right — by taking the right hands off of his right shoulder, and extending his right arm at shoulder height to his right — as he moves left.

The man leads the lady to move left — by taking the right hands (from being extended out at shoulder height) on to his right shoulder — as he moves right.

There is no explicit lead — as he releases the lady's right hand from his right hand (on his right shoulder) moves forwards and catches the lady's right hand in his left hand.

The man leads the lady to move forwards — by bringing his left hand (and the lady's right hand) forwards and raising his left hand (and the lady's right hand) from waist height to head height — as he moves backwards-right.

The man leads the lady to move forwards and turn 180o anticlockwise (with weight on her left leg) under his left hand (and the lady's right hand) — by pulling her right hand slightly with his left hand and lowering his left hand (and the lady's right hand) from head height to waist height — as he moves backwards-left.
